What is isopropyl cloprostenate?
iGlow Lash Maximizer and iGlow Brow Maximizer contain isopropyl cloprostenate (IC). IC is a synthetic prostaglandin analogue, which means it is a compound that resembles certain natural prostaglandins. The serums use IC in a low concentration, as an ingredient in a cosmetic product and not as a medicine.

What do we know about safety?
The serums are made for cosmetic use, and the formula has been dermatologically and ophthalmologically tested. Like any cosmetic product, they can cause reactions in some people. The most common are redness or irritation around the eyes, often because too much serum has been applied.
The EU is currently reviewing how prostaglandin analogues should be regulated in lash and brow products. We follow this closely and will update this page if anything changes.
For ethical reasons, the serums have not been tested on vulnerable groups such as pregnant or breastfeeding women, people under 18 or people undergoing chemotherapy.
Correct use is important
Follow the instructions and do not apply more than recommended. One thin coat per day, just above your lash line, on clean and dry skin, is plenty.
We recommend a patch test on the inside of your forearm 24 hours before first use. If you get stinging, redness or other irritation, stop using the serum.
